The NeoMOP Mission Statement

NeoMOP has much to accomplish. Though we face challenges ahead, we welcome and embrace them. We're ready, committed, and determined. But in order for NeoMOP to succeed, we believe that we must achieve the following five objectives:

• Create an identity and focal point for connections to and within the NeoMOP (Northeast Ohio Microelectronics Optics and Photonics) industry.

• Share business and technology expertise—forming partnerships or collaborating with fellow NeoMOP members.

• Create a positive image and network with higher learning institutions—developing a strong rapport with universities in and out of Ohio in order to recruit talent to Northeast Ohio, but also to retain local talent.

• Promote Northeast Ohio as the place to be—fostering growth in NeoMOP ventures and showing that Northeast Ohio is a great place to live.

• Convey and persuade to both the private and public sectors that NeoMOP is a vital trade association for the following reasons:
  
  
  1). Can yield high returns on investments
  2). Can create and retain businesses in Northeast Ohio; thereby, creating high paying jobs.
