What is NeoMOP
NeoMOP (Northeast Ohio Microelectronics Optics and Photonics) is a trade association formed in October of 2001. Sponsored by the Greater Cleveland Partnership, the group comprises of profit, non-profit, and governmental institutions. C. William King, the President and Founder of NeoMOP, formed the group in order to tackle issues facing these sectors and Northeast Ohio—inadequate or lack of funding for start up companies, lack of public awareness, talented individuals and companies leaving the region for other cities.

King believes Northeast Ohio is a great place to work and live. Northeast Ohio is already home to companies that produce products or services in these sectors, generating millions in revenues. But microelectronics, optics, and photonics still have a lot of upside, potential growth, and promising technologies. NeoMOP wants Northeast Ohio to reap these rewards. That's why it will be proactive in promoting these sectors to venture capitalists, angel seed investors, corporations, federal, state, and local elected officials, and colleges/universities. If you want to be part of this exciting venture, please feel free to contact NeoMOP.
